Following other recent headquarter relocations (99designs, Gensler, etc.), Fluid will be making its move from San Francisco to Oakland's Latham Square Building.
According to a recent article by Roland Li in the San Francisco Business Times, the decision was not just economic:
"San Francisco seems to have lost a bit of its cool," said Tamir Scheinok, chief operating officer at Fluid. "It really feels like the price pressures in San Francisco have pushed (out) the art scene, the warehouse scene."
"It feels like downtown Oakland was like the Mission was 20 years ago," he added.
